Israel strikes another Hezbollah leader from missiles intercepted close to the hotel of the US secretary of state.
The Israeli military claims it killed a Hezbollah commander who was generally expected to seize charge of the terrorist group.

Earlier this month, Israel claimed to have murdered powerful priest Hashem Safieddine, expected successor of Hassan Nasrallah, in an airstrike. According to the Israel Defence Forces, the strike claimed the lives of some 25 additional top Hezbollah members.

The revelation coincides with Antony Blinken, Secretary of State, concluding a trip to Israel this week. Tuesday, Blinken visited with Israeli authorities, and several missiles were intercepted over the hotel he was lodging at.

Blinken urged Israeli officials to “capitalise” on the death of Yahya Sinwar to advocate a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of the surviving hostages.

Hezbollah has also maintained its relentless rocket assault into northern Israel. Additionally, claiming blame for a drone attack damaging Netanyahu’s house was the terrorist group.

As conjecture on Israel’s response to Tehran’s October 1 ballistic missile launch develops, the attacks fit.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi insisted Tehran’s neighbours would not let their territory be utilised for such an attack and that it would be equally devastating.
